Wonda Wombat

Jellycat make a great many bunnies. They make one wombat.

It is a strange, excellent object. The proportions are wrong in the way real wombats are wrong: no neck, a head that goes straight into a body, and small round ears set far back. The fur is a two-tone pile that reads grey from a distance and warm brown up close, which is the trick that stops it looking like a rock.

It sits at 23cm and it stays sitting. The base is weighted, so it holds its posture on a shelf instead of slowly folding over the way a light plush does.
